Sea Kayaking Day Trips

Ullapool

The Ullapool area has much to offer for a sea kayaker. There are magnificent sea cliffs close to nice launching areas and around every corner is wildlife to be found. You can spot seals, sea bird like guillemots, shag and eider ducks. In very rare occasions dolphins, porpoises, basking sharks and whales have been spotted. Trips in this area are planned depending on the weather and the starting point is usually at Ardmair beach.

Plockton

Once you have seen the Plckton area you will fall in love with it. Close to the shore there is a Calidonian Pine Forest, along the coast are many little islands where a quick stop can easily be arranged and the area has some of the most astonishing wildlife.
