Explore the west coast of Scotland with a sea kayak and paddle away from “it all”. Sea kayaking in Scotland can be the most relaxing thing in the world. From a sea kayak you can watch the wildlife float past you, seals popping their curious noses up and sea birds flying over your head. There are many sea cliffs and caves in along the west coast of Scotland which are best explored from a sea kayak. Also you know you have stored all those goodies in your sea kayak, a bottle of nice red (or white) some good food and that extra warm sleeping bag which you usually don’t take with you for hiking or hillwalking holidays. Oh, it gets even better, think about waking up in the morning with the waves splashing at rocks below your camp site and a fresh cappuccino (not that instant stuff) or hot chocolate for breakfast. At Highland Ascent we don’t spare any effort to make it a pleasant trip to remember.

All this sounds too good to be true. But an adventure doesn’t mean to scarify on those little things you enjoy. You can load a sea kayak up to the rim with everything you may want. Some kayaks you can load with up to 50kg of your kit and you wouldn’t believe how much that can be.
