Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Inverness and check into the B&B. After settling in we introduce each other in the afternoon and go through the kit you will need. In the evening after dinner we will do a little theory in sea kayaking and a slide show of trips in the Highlands of Scotland.
Day 2
After breakfast head to a flatwater location near Inverness to get some basic sea kayaking skills in. Usually this encompasses forward paddling, turning, rescues and other basic skills.
Depending on how far we get we head back in the afternoon, get cleaned up and do some tidal planning and weather forecast before dinner. Plan the trip for day 3.
Day 3
In the morning we head to a location in the Moray Firth area for a 1 day sea kayaking trip. This could be either near Cromarty, Hopeman or Chanonry Point. All depending on weather and tide condition.
