Map: Learn how to read the map and interoperate the map and its features. Figure out contour lines and other useful symbols on OS maps. Translate the real thing to the map.

Compass: Set up a bearing and plan a leg. Walk at a compass bearing.

Distance: Pacing and timing the distance you walk and putting all the tools together.

We can teach you to use all the navigation tools without using a high-tech equipment like GPS or altimeter. A map and a compass and a map case is all you need to find your way around in the Scottish hills and not getting temporary misplaced.
