Knoydart Explorer Hillwalking

Knoydart hillwalk

Knoydart is probably one of the most elusive places in the Scottish Highlands. Easiest to be aproached by the sea. However, we are walking in over the hills. The attraction in the Knoydart hills is not only the remoteness but also the features. The ridges are clearly westcoast and are steeper than what you would expect in most other areas in Scotland. The walk includes 3 nights camping which can be an adventure on its own.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Inverness and check into the Bed & Breakfast. We will meet up in the afternoon to check the gear for the expedition and pack everything. Plan the trip for the rest of the week.

Day 2

Drive in the morning Loch Quoich where we start walking up the first hill. After a stiff walk with hopefully good views we will set up camp and start cooking dinner.

Day 3 - 4

Walk along the magnificent ridges and hills of Knoydart in these days. Take it all in a pace  which everyone will enjoy.

Day 5

On the last day of the walk we will find our way out to Loch Quoich. Once there drive back to Inverness and check into the B&B.

Day 6

Leaving Inverness again
