Glen Torridon, what a great place that is. This is without a doubt the most magnificent hillwalking area in mainland UK. These majestic hills have the most amazing combination of steep sandstone, topped with the silver looking quartzite.

Liathach, for example, is probably the toughest looking hill but to be honest, you jump out of the car and go straight up a hill. Not many places where you can do that. All the hills in Torrindon have their individual attraction to hillwalkers. Have a look at the photos to see what they are all about and you will see that it’s not just empty talk.
